Lost & Found
Despite how careful you are, sometimes a friend wanders off. We are Tehama and Glenn Counties’ only stray animal holding facility, and we are always ready to assist owners in finding lost pets, as well as help those who have found a stray animal running loose.

Tips on Finding Your Lost Animal |
Found an animal? Please take it to a vet clinic to be scanned for a microchip, and to determine its age, sex, and breed. This information is crucial in matching a pet to an owner.
If You Have Lost A Pet
- Complete our Lost Report. Please allow 24 hours for your report to be visible on our website. Reports expire after 30 days: to extend, just call us at (530) 527-3439 or email tcaslostfound@gmail.com.
- Though our staff check for matches, you should check as well! No one will recognize your pet faster or better than you. Please do not assume that if your pet isn’t listed, they aren’t in the shelter. Animals who have been in our shelter a little longer may not be listed on the website.
- If you are outside or near the border of our service area (All of Tehama and Glenn Counties), please also contact the stray holding facility nearest you.
