All about Hawk

Hawk is a 10 months old male American Pit Bull Terrier/Mix who weighs 49 pounds and has been with us for 238 days.

an you believe a puppy is one of our longest residents? Meet Hawk! After nearly 6 months in the shelter, Hawk NEEDS a break from the shelter and a chance to learn about what real life is like. Hawk is neutered and ready to go to his new home today!

Hawk absolutely loves other dogs and playing with toys. He doesn't mind sharing his toys, or his food, with his dog friends. Hawk has a happy personality but that happiness goes in all directions- he doesn't always keep his feet on the ground. He might knock over smaller children by accident. Hawk is strong on the leash and needs some practice heeling- growing up in the shelter means he needs to work on his manners. Hawk is already neutered and ready to go home with his forever family today!

Note that many dogs do not reach full size until they are about a year and a half old. The weight listed here is the dog's current weight.
