The Assessor is responsible for determining the assessed value of all taxable Real and Personal Property located within Tehama County. Under California Constitution and the Revenue and Taxation Code, the Assessor:
- Locates all taxable property within Tehama County.
- Identifies the owner of all taxable property.
- Establishes the assessed value of taxable property in accordance with the law.
- Produces assessment rolls for secured and unsecured property.
