We prosecute all types of crime, ranging from driving under the influence to homicide. Cases are submitted to the Tehama County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution by the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office, the Red Bluff Police Department, the Corning Police Department, the California Highway Patrol, other state agencies and our own Tehama County District Attorney’s Office, Bureau of Investigation.
The Tehama County District Attorney’s Office prides itself on ethics, integrity and efficiency. We are a small office with a big responsibility that we take seriously, and we expect our entire team to be committed to seeking justice. Tehama County District Attorney’s Office is comprised of the elected District Attorney Matt Rogers and seven Deputy District Attorneys. Critical to the pursuit of justice are the many support staff made up of Legal Secretaries and Office Assistants. Visit our recruitment page to find out more about what Tehama County has to offer. Our Victim/Witness division provides support to victims and witnesses of crime and in doing so directly supports prosecution. Our Bureau of Investigation is staffed with experienced and dedicated Investigators with both specialized assignments and the ability to engage in multi-agency investigations if needed.
