Tehama County Planning Department
The County is in the process of updating its Housing Element. The Housing Element is a required element of a County’s General Plan and must be updated every five years. This 7th Cycle Housing Element will cover the timeframe from 2024-2029 and includes goals, policies, and programs that address the maintenance, preservation, improvement, and development of housing in the unincorporated county.
The Draft Housing Element is now available for review on the County’s website at the link below:

The public comment period runs from July 23, 2024, to August 23, 2024.
